Un salón bien distribuido / A well laid out living room

Nos gustaría daros, a grandes rasgos, unos consejos para conseguir una buena distribución en el salón, pero ya sabéis que en casi cualquier tema, ni son todos los que están ni están todos los que son:

 Sì 

• Reservad un espacio mínimo de 3,00x2,50 metros, libre de obstáculos constructivos. Se considera que una superficie menor a esta no es suficiente para desarrollar las funciones propias de esta zona.
• En salones pequeños (10m² o menos) elegid un solo sofá y una butaca, dispuestos en L, y una mesa cuadrada (80x80cm). Si el salón es ancho (más de 4m) y colocáis dos sofás enfrentados, decantaos por una mesa de centro rectangular (120x80cm).
• Distribuid los sofás en L cuando el salón es pequeño o de planta alargada. Será más fácil acomodar los muebles y despejar las zonas de paso.
• Distribuid los sofás en U cuando el salón sea espacioso (16m² o más) o de planta cuadrada. Para cerrar y completar la zona de estar podéis colocar un par de butacas ligeras, banquetas o pufs.
• Colocad mesillas auxiliares a ambos lados del sofá principal. Aprovechan los rincones y ofrecen un soporte ideal para colocar lámparas de lectura.

• No obstaculicéis el paso colocando los muebles principales en línea con la puerta de la entrada, a continuación de ésta. Lo mejor es colocar los sofás arrimados a las otras paredes para dejar libre el espacio central.
• Procurad evitar situar el sofá de espaldas a la salida del balcón o la terraza. Si no tenéis otra opción, dejad al menos un paso 80cm libres para poder abrir las puertas sin problemas.
• Entre el televisor y el sofá no dejéis menos de dos metros libres, esta es la distancia mínima que se recomienda para ver correctamente la pantalla, aunque el tamaño de esta será un factor más a tener en cuenta, haciendo variar esa distancia entre dos y cinco veces el ancho del monitor.
• Elegir librerías exentas o muebles muy altos y pesados en salones estrechos, dificulta las circulaciones y se "come" mucho la luz. Pensad previamente en la capacidad de almacenaje que necesitáis y no añadáis muebles heterogéneos sobre la marcha.

We would like to give, broadly speaking, a few tips to obtain a good distribution in the living room:

• Save a minimal space of 3,00x2,50 meters, free of constructive obstacles. It is considered that less surface is not enough to develop the own functions of this area.
• In small lounges (10m² or less) choose only one sofa and an armchair, both set in L, and a square table (80x80cm). If the lounge is wide (4m or more) and you place two facing sofas, choose a rectangular coffee table (120x80cm).
• Match the sofas in L when the lounge is small or has a long shape. It will be easier to set the furniture pieces and to clear the getting through areas.
• Match the sofas in U when the lounge is spacious (16m² or more) or has a squared shape. To complete the zone you can place a couple of light armchairs, low benches or pouffes.
• Place auxiliary small tables on both sides of the main sofa. They take advantage of the corners and are an ideal support to place lamps of reading.

 No 

• Don't hold up the movement placing the main furniture in the line of the entry door, following this one. The better thing is to place the sofas close to the other walls to leave the central space free.
• Try to avoid to place the sofa against the exit of the balcony or the terrace. If you have no choice, leave at least a way 80cm free to be able to open the doors without any problem.
• Between the TV set and the sofa don't leave less than two free meters, this one is the minimal recommended distance to see correctly the screen, although its size will be one more factor to bearing in mind, changing this distance between two and five times the width of the monitor.
• To choose bookshops or other furniture very high and heavy in narrow spaces, make difficult  the traffics and lessens the light. You must think before about the capacity of storage that you need for not to add heterogeneous furniture piece there and then.
