Al pensar en una vivienda low-cost, a mucha gente le viene a la cabeza la cuestión del tamaño: si la casa es pequeña, caben menos cosas y nos gastaremos menos dinero. No siempre.
¿Hay algún límite en cuanto al tamaño de una vivienda? Sí, en la Comunidad Valenciana hay una legislación que fija la mínima superficie útil en 30 ó 24m², según la vivienda esté compartimentada en diferentes estancias o no. En las otras autonomías existen normativas similares, ya se sabe, la "necesaria" puntilla del elemento diferenciador entre subgobiernos...
El objetivo es fijar unas condiciones básicas de calidad, en cuanto a funcionalidad, seguridad y habitabilidad, que satisfagan las necesidades de los usuarios sin perder la dignidad.
A su vez, cada estancia debe reunir unos requisitos mínimos de carácter superficial, dimensional, de ventilación, iluminación, de comunicación entre espacios... en definitiva, el diseño y organización de una vivienda, y por ende, del edificio que la alberga, no es algo fácil e improvisado, necesita conjugar las necesidades y modo de vida de las personas que la ocuparán, cumpliendo las reglas del juego que la normativa nos dicta. En este vídeo, os mostramos de una forma lúdica todo un recorrido por micro-viviendas de todo el mundo (también España). Aunque muchas de ellas no serían legalizables en nuestro entorno social, es divertido y didáctico ver cómo se las han arreglado estas personas para conseguir tener un hogar cómodo y a su entera satisfacción.
Algunos ejemplos hacen gala de un diseño realmente ingenioso, en otros resulta difícil creer cómo es posible cubrir todas las necesidades en apenas 9 ó 10m², hay viviendas habilitadas en cuevas, garajes, roulottes...
Es un documental largo, que si os da pereza verlo entero, podéis hacerlo saltando de casa en casa, aunque seguro que os enganchará y acabaréis disfrutándolo en su totalidad, porque es un trabajo dirigido a abrir nuestras mentes a otras perspectivas. La mayor parte de él es en inglés (también hay alguna parte en francés y español) pero es muy fácil de entender tan solo viendo las imágenes.

In this video, we show you of a playful form a tour by micro-housings of the whole world (also Spain). Though many of them would not be legalizables in our society, it is funny and learning to see how these people manage to have a comfortable home and to his complete satisfaction.
Some examples show a really ingenious design off, in others it is difficult to believe how it is possible to cover all the needs in hardly 90 ó 100 feet², there are housings enabled in caves, garages, roulottes...
It is a long report that, if you feel lazy to see it entire, you can do it "jumping" from one house to another, although we are sure you'll get hooked on it up and, at the end, you will see it enjoying it, because it is a work aimed at opening our minds for other perspectives.
