En nuestro empeño por hacer una arquitectura ecológica y sostenible en la que el uso de materiales reciclados y propios de la naturaleza sean protagonistas principales de entre todos los materiales de construcción, Plc os muestra este Hotel Seven4one en Laguna Beach, California (EEUU) diseñado por Horst Architects.
Materiales como la madera reciclada obtenida de la demolición de edificios, las paredes verticales llenas de plantas, y el acero corten muy resistente a la intemperie, intervienen para crear una fachada elegante, agradable y en permanente contacto con la naturaleza.
En el patio interior del hotel, donde se sitúa una zona de estar bajo un techo desmontable, en una de sus paredes se repite el uso de los materiales de la fachada exterior de manera que interior y exterior se funden dando lugar a una estancia interior abierta al exterior.
La pared con madera reciclada, el jardín vertical y la chimenea de acero corten sirve de escenario para darle otros usos a este patio y convertirlo en sala de celebraciones de bodas o restaurante.

Materials such as recycled wood obtained from the demolition of buildings, vertical walls full of plants, and the corten steel a weather resistant steel, come to create a smart and nice facade, with permanent contact with nature.
In the inner courtyard of the hotel, where there is a living area under a removable ceiling, in one of its walls, the use of the outdoor materials is repeated in the way that in and outdoor are melted, getting an inner room opened outside.
The recycled wood wall, the vertical garden and the corten steel fireplace, can be used as scenary to give this yard other uses and to turn it into weddings celebrations room or restaurant.
