Estos días pasados hemos celebrado la Semana de la Arquitectura, culminando el pasado 7 con el Día de la Arquitectura. Se organizaron un par de recorridos arquitectónicos por Valencia, nuestra ciudad, dando a conocer mejor los sitios emblemáticos y descubriendo otros enclaves que habitualmente pasan desapercibidos.
These last days we have celebrated the Week of the Architecture, finishing the last 7th with the Day of the Architecture. There was organized a couple of architectural tours by Valencia, our city, to know better the emblematic sites and discovering other ones that usually go unnoticed.
Lo mejor de todo: la posibilidad que nos brindaron de ver la ciudad desde unos puntos de vista incomparables y nada habituales, cubiertas y azoteas de edificios tales como la catedral, la Plaza Redonda, el complejo Administrativo 9 d'Octubre o las Torres de Serranos, desde las cuales, incluso, pudimos visualizar el Sol.
Una alternancia continuada de contrastes entre lo nuevo y lo tradicional que enriquece constantemente nuestra ciudad.
Best of all: the possibility we had of seeing the city from some unrivalled and not habitual points of view, roofs of such buildings as the cathedral, the Plaza Redonda, the Administrative complex 9 d'Octubre or the Torres de Serranos, from which we could even visualize the Sun.
A constant alternation of contrasts between the new things and the traditional ones that makes rich our city.
