Hace escasos días se ha celebrado en Valencia la gran semana de la arquitectura, el interiorismo y la decoración, la Valencia Disseny Week (VDW), en la que han coincidido tres de las ferias más populares (Cevisama, Feria Habitat Valencia y Fimma Maderalia) y numerosos eventos por toda la ciudad que os hemos ido anunciando a través de las redes sociales.
Todo ello se ha coordinado desde la web "Nos vemos en Valencia 2014".
A few days ago, the great week of architecture, interior design and decoration, Valencia Design Week (VDW), was celebrated in Valencia, in which coincided three of the most popular fairs (Cevisama, Feria Habitat Valencia and Fimma Maderalia) and several events throughout the city that we have been advertising through social networks.
All of this has been coordinated from the web "See you in Valencia 2014."
En la feria de muestras pudimos disfrutar de las últimas colecciones de nuestros proveedores habituales y muchas novedades y contactos que vamos incorporando a nuestra agenda, a la vez que advertimos un mayor esfuerzo que en años anteriores por mostrar unos stands con diseños más trabajados, atractivos y acogedores.
At the trade fair we could enjoy the latest collections from our suppliers and thousands of news and new contacts, while we could observe better stands with more attractive designs than the last years.
Por otro lado, también tuvimos tiempo de escaparnos a algún evento de los muchos que nos ofrecía el programa, como la inauguración del nuevo showroom de Progetti Ceramiche, en pleno centro de Valencia,
On the other hand, we also had time to go to any event, such as the opening of the new showroom Progetti Ceramiche, in the heart of Valencia,
o el evento GandiaBlasco, celebrado en el precioso claustro gótico del Centro del Carmen, en el que se presentaron sus últimas novedades en mobiliario de exterior y donde pudimos reconocer (¡y probar!) los sugerentes diseños de Patricia Urquiola.
or the Gandiablasco event, held in the beautiful Gothic cloister of the Centro del Carmen, where its latest innovations in outdoor furniture were presented and where we could recognize (and try!) the Patricia Urquiola suggestive designs.
Aunque la VDW ya terminó, todavía hay exposiciones que podemos ver, y una de las que más nos apetece es XL/xs - Diseñado por arquitectos, que tiene lugar en el Espai Rambleta hasta el 12 de marzo, y en la que se muestra la contribución del arquitecto al mundo del diseño, ese privilegio que ansiamos tener cuando en ocasiones se nos da la oportunidad de diseñar más allá del edificio como contenedor, suena bien ¿verdad?
Although the VDW is over, there are still exhibitions we can see, and one of the most recomended is XL/xs - Designed by architects, which takes place in the Espai Rambleta until march 12th, and in which it is shown the architect's contribution to the world of design, that privilege we would like to live when we have the opportunity to design beyond the building as a container, sounds good, doesn't it?
¡Ya estamos deseando que llegue la próxima VDW 2015!
