Hay terrazas que por su orientación en invierno es muy agradable su estar al sol y mucho más si están refugiadas del viento, sin embargo, en verano se hace necesario tener una protección solar para poder disfrutar de ella.
En la reforma de esta vivienda unifamiliar que realizamos, quisimos colocar una terraza en esta parte de la casa con acceso a la cocina y desde donde se pudiera disfrutar de la piscina.
En esta terraza de grandes dimensiones (7x4m), por su orientación suroeste, buscamos un tipo de protección solar que se pudiera quitar y poner con facilidad para disfrutar del sol en invierno y protegerse de él en verano.
De entre todas las posibilidades que barajamos ésta fue la que mejor se adaptaba a las necesidades, la más práctica y funcional.
Colocamos un toldo de cofre de 6x3m con accionamiento mecánico con mando a distancia. De este modo se cubría la terraza o se descubría con gran facilidad, simplemente apretando un botón. Se eligió el color blanco para seguir con la estética exterior de la vivienda.
Además el cofre protege el toldo cuando está recogido, manteniéndolo a salvo de los agentes atmosféricos, a la lona y al propio mecanismo del toldo. Su instalación fue rápida y fácil.
También, con este tipo de cubrición evitábamos tener los postes del típico porche, lo cual hizo que la vista del jardín fuera completa.
En cuanto al mobiliario de la terraza, éste se colocó distribuyendo el espacio en dos zonas: una zona de comedor con una mesa y cuatro sillas, y una zona de solarium con dos tumbonas y una mesita de apoyo. Todo el mobiliario se consiguió en Ikea.

English version: There are terraces whose winter orientation makes them sunny, especially if they are protected from the wind; nevertheless, in summer it becomes necessary to provide them of some solar protection to be able to enjoy them.
In the reform of this house that we made, we wanted to place a terrace in this part of the house with access to the kitchen and from where it was possible to enjoy the swimming pool. In this terrace of big dimensions (7x4m), because of its orientation southwest, we looked for a type of solar protection able to open and close easily to enjoy the sun in winter and to be protected in summer.
Among all options we chose this one adapting to the needs.
It is a tent (6x3m) protected in a box when it's closed. It works automatically by remote control and the chosen color was the white one to continue the style of the house.
Its installation was rapid and easy and it doesn't need any post to hold the tent in the way of the typical porch, obtaining a whole sight of the garden.
The terrace's furniture divides the space in two zones: an area of dining room with a table and four chairs, and a zone of solarium with two chaise longues and a café table. The furniture is from Ikea.
